25th of March 2026
Now spring has definitely started! Today we welcomed hooves on the ground as one of our ewe had triplets! Lambing has now started and we look forward to the other 3 lambing sometime in the next week or two. Here they are below sheltering indoors cause its so windy!

New additions

22nd of March 2026
Today was the day we welcomed quail back onto the farm! We now have four females, so after they have settled in hopefully it'll mean the quail eggs will go back in stock! They are gorgeous birds and we have missed there calls so it's great to have them back again.

Whole roast dinners are on their way

8th March 2026
Today was the day seeds went into their trays! The cabbage, Cauliflower and parsnips are in, ready to eventually be part of our whole roast dinner package. Also in the photo are the leeks we planted a few weeks ago, already starting to come up and soon they'll be potted into individual pots, ready to be planted out! When we say currently growing, we really do mean it!

The new pigs have arrived

5th of March 2026
After a long period of waiting (in the hope that the rain would stop and the paddocks would dry out - they haven't!) our new pigs have arrived here at Clintergate Farm. We welcome two little piggies which we will grow on and a beautiful sow called Duchess. These are pedigree large black pigs and it is wonderful to have pigs back on the farm. They are full of energy, comedy and noise!
